Surprise win on Wednesday this week! The envelope was very plain. The only information that had me curious to open it was that the envelope was thick. Woo hoo!

As I hit the half way mark in a few days, I thought about another type of contest entry; snail mail.
Over a year ago, I paid for an annual membership to a nice newsletter called 'Sweeping America'. They also had a Yahoo group to join for support. Their weekly newsletter was very nice and put together in an easy to use fashion. I liked the newsletters so much that I looked forward to getting them each week.
On a weekly basis, I'd scan through the contests, check off the ones I wanted to enter and sent in as many entries as possible.
The final results after an entire year of handwritten, snail mail entries, lots of stamps/envelopes? Zero... ...

Well this win is out of the blue! Odds were slim as it was an online contest. However, never say never!!!
